What to write in the request

• Address: the street and house number or the house name, the town or parish.
• What needs doing: cleaning, a cleaning certificate, a technical condition report, a camera inspection, a liner, a repair, a new chimney or ventilation ducts.
• Heating appliance and fuel: wood stove, tiled stove, fireplace, cooker, sauna stove, wood, pellet or gas boiler.
• The number of flues, if you know it, and when the chimney was last cleaned.
• What the certificate is for: insurance, replacing a gas boiler, selling the house, the building manager or the building authority (būvvalde).
• Access: whether there is a ladder on the roof or a safe way to the chimney, and where the cleaning doors are.
• The problem, if there is one: the stove smokes, the draught is weak, damp patches or tar appear on the wall.

What happens after you send the request

1. We contact you within 5 minutes We clarify anything that is unclear and name the price, or what it will depend on.
2. We agree on a time We agree the day and how the chimney sweep will reach the chimney, the attic and the cleaning doors.
3. The work and the certificate After the work you receive a certificate with the name and number of the chimney sweep's qualification document.

If soot is burning in the chimney

If the chimney roars, sparks fly out of it or the flue wall gets hot, do not fill in the form: call 112. After a soot fire the flue must not be used until it has been checked: chimney check after a soot fire.
